Beverages Ingredients 1 egg 1 1/2 oz rum 1 oz spiced brown sugar syrup Dash plum bitters optional Cinnamon and brown sugar for garnish 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cinnamon stick 2 dried cloves Step 1 Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and stir on medium heat until sugar dissolves. Let mixture cool and use a fine strainer to remove spices. Makes 9 portions. Step 2 Combine all ingredients in a shaker but do not add ice. Shake briefly and break the seal to release the pressure. Briefly shake again to help froth the egg. Add a scoop of ice and shake once more until the tin gets frosty. Step 3 Pour into a glass or mug, giving the beverage about 10 seconds to settle.
